WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As an IT Support Technician 1, you will be an essential part of our team, assisting in the preparation, shipping, and receiving of corporate laptops and other IT equipment. You'll also provide top-notch IT support, both in-person and virtually, ensuring smooth and efficient tech operations for our staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prep, configure, and troubleshoot corporate laptops for deployment
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks for IT equipment
  • Maintain inventory and asset management records for all IT equipment
  • Provide in-person and remote IT support for corporate employees
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly
  • Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve workflow and support processes
  • Based in Austin with ability to work in office a minimum of three days per week is required

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows and macOS), and common software applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple tasks at once
  • Experience with shipping logistics and inventory management systems

NICE TO HAVE

  • Post-secondary education in IT or related field
  • IT Certifications, such as CompTIA A+
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques
  • Understanding of basic network troubleshooting
  • Prior experience in a corporate IT environment
